REEVES | General Laborer - Campobello, SC

Reeves Construction Company is a heavy civil highway and site development construction company operating in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Missouri, and Arkansas.

• Perform physical tasks required for road and site construction.
• Work with limited or no prior experience in road and/or site construction.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct a variety of labor activities such as shoveling dirt, sand, asphalt or concrete; cutting or trimming trees and vegetation; breaking pavement; digging holes; operating hand-driven compaction devices; and brooming debris.
• Work at asphalt plants, existing roads, new roads, building sites, and office or shop facilities.

• Previous road or construction experience is preferred.
• Valid driving license and reliable transportation to job sites.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Demonstrated safety awareness and willingness to comply with safety standards.
• Availability for periodic evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Ability to wear proper protective gear including safety vests, safety glasses, long pants, and safety-toed shoes.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Regular hand use, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, walking, and lifting or moving up to 60 pounds. Vision requirements include 20/40 vision, both near and distance. Hearing must be excellent or corrected.

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, weather conditions, vibration, wet or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, and high noise levels.
