After-School Program Staff – Tyger River Elementary (2026‑2027)

Reports To:

Building Administrator

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Desire to put forth best effort in all assigned duties.
• Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, parents, and the public.
• Applicants must be 18 years old.

• Assists in planning and implementation of academic, enrichment, health, and recreational extra‑curricular learning experiences for students.
• Assists tutoring of students in academic subjects such as reading, writing, math, and other areas.
• Provides one‑on‑one and small‑group instruction, utilizing a variety of teaching techniques.
• Works effectively with students in after‑school activities and assists with behavior management, discipline, interpersonal actions, and acts as a role model.
• Promotes good habits to improve the quality of students' outcomes and encourage student development.
• Follows all district and school policies, rules, and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Conducts duties in an office/school/work environment with no significant exposure to environmental conditions. Physical demands are restricted to office work requiring lifting/moving of items up to 25 pounds. Job requires operation of standard office equipment.
