Job DescriptionQualifications:

- Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, parents, and the public.

Reports to: Building Administrator
General
Summary:
Responsible for helping students develop and strengthen academic, physical, and social skills by providing assistance and tutoring in the after‑school program.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and implementation of academic, enrichment, health, and recreational extra‑curricular learning experiences.
- Assist tutoring in academic subjects such as reading, writing, math, and other areas.
- Provide one‑on‑one and small group instruction, utilizing a variety of teaching techniques.
- Work effectively with students in after‑school activities and assist with behavior management, discipline, interpersonal actions, and act as a role model.
- Promote good habits to improve student outcomes and encourage development.
- Follow all district and school policies, rules, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions: Conduct duties in an office/school/work environment with no significant exposure to environmental conditions. Physical demands are restricted to office work requiring lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds. Job requires the operation of standard office equipment.
