Responsibilities
- Applies developing technical expertise to solve simple problems
- Management skills to provide oversight of work in a specific area of developing expertise
- Expected to develop skills in their field of study
- Works with some degree of independence for Engineering Technologist I
- Applies technical expertise to solve more complex problems for Engineering Technologist II
- Provides oversight and direction of work with general supervision for Engineering Technologist II
- Develops deeper technical skills and ability to work with an increasing degree of independence
- Experience in the utility industry
- Understanding of basic principles of project management
- Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Either Associate Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with no experience, or 2+ years equivalent industry experience without a degree
