The Analyst serves as the technical bridge between our customers’ IT environments and their office technology, ensuring every installation is completed professionally, securely, and efficiently.

Position Summary

The Analyst is responsible for the installation, configuration, integration, and ongoing technical support of multifunction printers (MFPs), production print devices, document management software, and related network-connected office technology. This role works closely with customers, internal sales professionals, service technicians, and customer IT departments to deliver successful implementations and outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and commission multifunction copiers, printers, scanners, production devices, and related software solutions.
  • Integrate equipment into customer network environments, including configuration of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SMB, LDAP, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Universal Print, and secure print services.
  • Configure print drivers, scanning workflows, scan-to-email, scan-to-folder, cloud repositories, address books, user authentication, and device security settings.
  • Install and configure fleet management and monitoring software, including FMAudit, Xerox Device Agent (XDA), MyQ, Paper Cut, or similar solutions, when applicable.
  • Perform network diagnostics and resolve connectivity, printing, scanning, authentication, and workflow issues.
  • Collaborate directly with customer IT personnel to ensure seamless integration with existing network infrastructure and security policies.
  • Provide end-user training on equipment features, print management, scanning workflows, and best practices.
  • Document installation details, network settings, configurations, and customer training within company service systems.
  • Maintain accurate installation records and ensure all projects are completed according to company standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Coordinate implementation schedules with Sales, Service, Dispatch, Logistics, and customer contacts to ensure successful project execution.
  • Support equipment relocations, network migrations, software upgrades, and customer technology refresh projects.
  • Assist field service technicians with advanced networking and software-related troubleshooting as needed.
  • Maintain current knowledge of manufacturer software, firmware updates, Microsoft technologies, and emerging office technology solutions.
  • Represent Morris Business Solutions with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
Required
  • Experience installing, configuring, or supporting office technology, copiers, printers, managed print environments, or IT infrastructure.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Microsoft 365
  • TCP/IP networking
  • DNS, DHCP, SMTP, and SMB protocols
  • Print drivers and network printing
  • Basic cybersecurity principles for network-connected devices
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to organize multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and safely move office equipment when necessary.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Xerox, Lexmark, Kyocera, HP, or similar office technology platforms.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, LDAP.
