Start your new career as a Material Handler Associate with MAU at AFL in Duncan, SC. As a Material Handler Associate, you will safely move, store, and track materials throughout the facility while supporting production, shipping, and receiving operations using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.
- Pay of $19.14 per hour
- Shift differential pay of $20.29 per hour
- 1st Shift: 4:45 AM – 3:15 PM, Monday – Thursday
- 2nd Shift: 3:45 PM – 2:15 AM, Monday – Thursday
- Weekend Days: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Friday – Sunday (Work 36 hours, get paid for 40)
- Weekend Nights: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM, Friday – Sunday (Work 36 hours, get paid for 40)

- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience preferred
- Experience operating sit-down or stand-up forklifts preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and operate equipment throughout the shift
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and products
- Supply production lines with materials needed to maintain workflow
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying quantities and inspecting materials
- Use scanners, inventory systems, and paperwork to track materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Ensure materials are properly stored and labeled
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and equipment guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment using 5S standards
- Report safety concerns, equipment issues, and inventory discrepancies
- Support warehouse and manufacturing operations as needed
