The purpose of a Process Technician is to ensure that the production lines are producing parts that meet the customers’ specifications. This is achieved by monitoring the foaming process and making any necessary corrections to the foam or robot programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Monitor and adjust machine parameters
- Monitor part quality and adjust process to correct problems
- Make adjustments to foam programs based on the results of hardness testing.
- Instruct production employees when needed to correct failures.
- Operate and correct vision tools to maintain production and part quality
- Conduct audits and assessments to identify potential areas of risk and develop mitigation strategies. Understand and maintain audit compliance as it relates to the process function. This would include: IATF, ISO, and TISAX.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines established by the company. Encourage safe practices and a safety-first mindset among coworkers.
- Additional duties as needed and assigned.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Detail-oriented and extremely accurate.
- Ability to solve problems.
- Ability to read and understand manuals and maintain proper records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Employee must have working knowledge of manufacturing environment. The individual will be responsible for overseeing the continuous improvement of the manufacturing process and executing long term strategic plans. Must be self‑motivated and possess well developed leadership skills.
Minimum Education RequiredHigh School Diploma/GED
Prior Experience Required- Robot/CNC programming
- Experience with automated production equipment
- Production processing of Polyurethane
- Knowledge of TS-6949 procedures
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions and required documents. Has the ability to respond and communicate complicated instructions and basic directions.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS- Ability to comprehend and apply principles of basic mathematics.
- Ability to make simple mathematical calculations quickly and accurately.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Must be able to analyze and troubleshoot process problems.
- Must be able to learn to make changes to complex robot programs.

Standing for an extended period of time. Must walk from line to line. Be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
WORK ENVIRONMENTNormal amount of sitting and standing, above average mobility to move around an office and plant environment, able to conduct normal amount of work on a computer.
Works with the Process Supervisor, Production Supervisor, Line Leads, line personnel, and Quality Auditors.
