Bindery Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Bindery Operator for a company based in Duncan, SC. In this role, you will have the opportunity to operate and maintain bindery machinery, ensuring high-quality production and efficient workflow in a printing environment.
Pay Rate$18.89-$21.39 per hour
Schedule and HoursThree 12-hour shifts per week 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Duties and Responsibilities- Operate bindery machines, including cutters, folders, collators and binders
- Perform sewing and stitching on printed materials or products as required
- Inspect products throughout the process to maintain quality standards and detect defects.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machines as needed.
- Previous work as a press operator, laminator, and sewing operator in a printing or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of large format printing equipment and finishing processes.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
- Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments.
