What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the automotive manufacturing location, including production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter access points.

* Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, verifying access credentials and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.

* Observe site operations and conditions for unusual activity, potential hazards, and/or policy violations, and communicate security-related concerns according to post procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

* Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

* The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

* Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

* Customer service experience is preferred.

* A guard card or license is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
