Inbound Material Handler (Forklift) - 2nd Shift
Eaton's ES AMER HQ MFGSC division is currently seeking an Inbound Material Handler (Forklift)- 2nd Shift at our Duncan, SC facility! The core hours are Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m.
- 10:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory hourly rate for this position is $23.00 per hour, which includes a $1.25 shift premium per hour. What you'll do:
The Inbound Receiver will move material through the distribution center via receiving, sorting, stocking, restocking, consolidating, picking, packing, shipping to enable the site to process customer orders. In this role, you will:
- Unload and stage pallets of materials in appropriate areas of Receiving. Utilize packing slips to generate barcode labels, breakdown material, sort styles, verify count and stock appropriate warehouse locations via use of RF scanners and/or mobile computers to scan material, styles, location and re-verify count.
- Use PIV (reach truck or order picker) to transport the material from the receiving area into the area where it is to be stocked. Additionally, will need to use carts for bin putaways.
- Other duties as assigned, including helping other departments as needed.
- Verify styles and quantities of materials shipped. Visually inspect products, scanning and place in shipping carton. Place packing material in shipping carton to minimize potential of product damage during shipping. Place packing lists, content labels and shipping labels where appropriate.
- Retrieve appropriate styles & quantities of material from warehouse locations using appropriate picking process. Place materials in containers, visually inspect the product, verifying with scanning equipment if required, and verify accuracy of product count. Utilizing the same skills to restock/replenish.
- Resolve discrepancies. Research all possible solutions to ensure order is accurate.
- Maintain quality workmanship, observe safety procedures, report unsafe acts, and perform work of equal or lower classification if necessary.
