Responsible for unloading freight from various trucking companies with or without manual or powered equipment at an assigned location under the direction of the Supervisor and Site Manager.

• Unload cargo at appropriate speed to meet motion plans.
• Breakdown freight as required.
• Operate forklift or electric pallet jack if trained.

Regular use of hands and arms, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally sit, climb or balance. Must lift and move 50 to 75 pounds regularly. Must maintain vision requirements such as close vision, distance vision, color vision.

• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Detail oriented, attention to the minute details.
• Effective communication – read, write, understand English.

• Prior experience operating a forklift and pallet jack a plus (not required).
• Physical capability to lift and move up to 75lbs continuously.
• Capacity to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes weekends and holidays, including overtime without advanced notice.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and written instructions.

Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work. Will train and certify associates if necessary.
