Mind Care Solutions, is a leader in comprehensive mental health solutions in various settings: clinician owned and operated. We are seeking a Weekend Psychiatrist to manage the operation and provide overall direction and leadership for the provision of mental health services in the facility.

Up to $185 per hour based on experience and contract type.

Burleson, TX (on‑site)

P/T – Saturday and Sunday (minimum 6 hours a day) alternating weekends available.

• The position is for a psychiatrist to provide psychiatric services for an inpatient behavioral health unit.
• Focuses on delivering high‑quality, recovery‑oriented psychiatric care to adults with serious mental illness in a structured residential setting.
• The psychiatrist will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary treatment team to support stabilization, continuity of care, and long‑term recovery.
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications ensuring that treatment plans are effective and adjusted as needed.
• The psychiatrist will create individualized treatment plans that include medication management, psychotherapy, and other interventions.
• The psychiatrist will maintain up‑to‑date medical records, ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and standards of care.
• Maintain and monitor confidentiality of patients and their files; audit files to determine that all services provided are documented; review status of patients to verify that all treatment and therapeutic programs are completed.
• Provide immediate psychiatric care in crisis situations, such as suicide attempts or acute psychiatric episodes, and work to prevent incidents through proactive mental health management.
• Endeavor to comply with the requirements of applicable regulations, laws, rules, procedures, policies, standards and/or contract.

• Psychiatrist is required to have an active and unrestricted license in TX.
• 2 years of inpatient experience (trauma experience required).
• Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry.
• Valid and unrestricted DEA in TX.

180 – 185 USD per hour (Burleson, TX)
