Moore Supply Company is seeking a Sales and Leadership Trainee at its Duncanville, TX location.
Pay: $24 per hour.
About the ProgramThe Sales & Leadership Development program is a multi-year rotational program designed to develop future leaders by exposing trainees to all aspects of the business.
- Live into your dreams – align your passion and career goals with business needs, leading to opportunities in sales, operations management, profit center management, or other paths.
- Learn the business – on‑job experience plus coaching, courses, and vendor visits covering warehouse procedures, operations, and sales.
Phase 1: Business operations – receiving, shipping, processing returns, deliveries, truck maintenance. Vendor product knowledge sessions and related online courses.
Phase 2: Counter sales – customer assistance, sales order processing, product information, display maintenance. Vendor sessions and work with residential, commercial, and contractor clients.
Phase 3: Sales – pricing, margin management, bids, quotes, procurement, scheduling. Build vendor relationships and attend joint sales calls.
Phase 4: Career discussion with Profit Center Manager to identify desired business focus.
QualificationsCollege degree or equivalent experience.
Experience in customer service, sales, management, or leadership roles.
Must be at least 18 years old with valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Able to drive for company business.
