Position Overview

The Director of Design and Construction serves as the driving force behind Celebree’s expansion, leading construction team while partnering closely with franchise owners and a network of trusted vendors. This role is accountable for each new location from concept to completion, ensuring each project is delivered on time, on budget, and on brand, upholding our promise to families, franchisees and communities.

As a strategic leader, the Director builds and maintains a strong pipeline of architects, contractors, and suppliers to support Celebree’s growth trajectory. This position fosters a culture of excellence and accountability, empowering teams and partners to consistently execute projects that reflect Celebree’s high standards for quality and safety. By proactively managing costs, timelines, and brand compliance, the Director ensures Celebree is keeping the promise of the construction journey.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience managing multi-site construction projects, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes and childcare regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated success managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in franchise, retail, hospitality, or childcare construction is highly desirable.
