Compensation: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM; every other Saturday, 7:30 AM–3:00 PM
Job SummaryWe are seeking a versatile and organized individual to join our automotive team. You will handle inbound and outbound customer communications in our Business Development Center (BDC). Additionally, you will support our Service Department with essential administrative duties, paperwork, and cashiering. This hybrid role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for customer service.
Key Responsibilities BDC Operations- Answer incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
- Schedule sales and service appointments to maximize shop capacity.
- Conduct outbound follow-up calls to recent customers and lost leads.
- Update and maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system.
- Meet daily and weekly targets for call volume and appointments booked.
- Greet customers warmly as they arrive to pick up their vehicles.
- Process customer payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Balance the cash drawer and prepare daily deposit logs.
- File, organize, and scan service repair orders (ROs) and warranty paperwork.
- Review completed paperwork with customers to explain services and charges.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a dealership BDC or automotive service role preferred.
- Proficiency with CDK Drive or similar automotive DMS software. (Not required; can learn)
- Strong telephone etiquette and clear verbal communication skills.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills with high accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment.
