DescriptionOur Lady of Hope/St. Luke School, located in Dundalk, Maryland
, is seeking a full-time, qualified Middle School Mathematics Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic school year. The Middle School Math Teacher will be responsible for the direct supervision and instruction of students. He/she will provide a Catholic education through excellent academic and extracurricular programs that promote leadership, achievement, and service within the church and community. This is a full-time, benefit eligible, 10-month teaching position.
Functions
- Follows and maintains knowledge of AoB policies and procedures.
- Implement lesson plans utilizing a variety of techniques to motivate, challenge, and engage students.
- Plan and execute an instructional program that upholds the values and ideals of the Catholic Church.
- Create an instructional environment conducive to learning that is appealing and organized.
- Interact effectively and respond to all parent communication in a professional, empathetic, and timely manner.
- Maintain high professional standards consistent with the Catholic mission and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
- Safely and actively supervise students both inside and outside of the classroom.
- Expertly integrate GSuite for Education into a 21st-century classroom.
- Meet the needs, interest, and abilities of students in accordance with the curriculum; effective instruction will include differentiated learning.
- Degree in Math or Education with a Math Concentration.
- MSDE teacher certification in Education for Math or the desire to obtain this.
- Knowledge curriculum, and principles and practices of pedagogy.
- Must be proficient in using a variety of technology during daily lessons as well as to enrich and differentiate instruction.
- Employment is contingent upon acceptable results of state and federal fingerprint background checks, completion of VIRTUS Training, and completion of all necessary paperwork.
Pay Range: $50,000 - $54,000, Annualized
