We are looking for a highly motivated, result driven and confident Automation Engineer. This is a full-time and permanent position based in Dundalk.
As an Automation Engineer your role would be to develop, commission and support of automation control systems across a wide spectrum of industries utilising cutting edge technologies.
Duties & Responsibilities- Work within a diverse tram using the latest automation technologies
- Software development of bespoke machines and manufacturing systems
- Interact with the customers on technical requirements
- Assess existing technologies and processes
- Assist with delivery of best in class automation solutions
- Support operation with technical queries
- Work with a team
- Document the project and manage change control
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Third level qualification in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Computer Science or equivalent
- Industry experience with preference for Rockwell, Ignition, Siemens, OSI PI Historian, VBA an advantage
- Cisco Networking qualification and or VMware or equivalent qualification an advantage
- Knowledge of Robotics and safety standards an advantage
- Ambitious, confident and professional individual with strong communication and organisational skills
