The Position:AMEWAS is seeking a highly motivated and talented Systems Engineer (Anti‑Tamper)-Senior. The salary range of this position is $ - $ and is commensurate with experience. This position is not eligible for remote work; on‑site support is required.

A typical day as a Systems Engineer (Anti‑Tamper)-Senior may include:- Performs programmatic or technical leadership roles in an organization identifying, formulating, designing and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems
- Guides the engineering development of modern complex systems
- Employs systems engineering methods and tools in the development of advanced complex systems
- Conducts research in applied systems engineering to advance the field
- Participates and provides inputs to (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). throughout the program life cycle
- Implements AT policies, instructions, guidance, in systems development
- Participates in identification of weapon system critical program information (CPI) and determination of consequence of compromise
- Conducts system trade‑off analysis in recommending a reasonable AT solution
- Develops and advocates AT contractual requirements in support of developmental programs
- Facilitates evaluation of weapons system architectures for compliance to protection standards
- Coordinates with program, service, Joint and Department of Defense agencies to ensure system horizontal protection requirements are met
- Assists the Navy Verification & Validation (V&V) team with assessment of AT designs and solutions
- Supports program risk management, mitigation and reporting
- Communicates across the technical teams to share information, address issues and accelerate pace of new development
- Serves as a Technical Review Board (TRB) member for systems technical events providing AT/SSE expertise
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related scientific discipline OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related scientific discipline with 4 years of additional work experience (14 years total)
- Degree obtained from an accredited college or university as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
- 10 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of weapons system architectures that resist reverse engineering
- Programmatic/Technical knowledge identifying, formulating, designing and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems
- Experience guiding the engineering development of modern complex systems
- Experience with application of systems engineering methods and tools in the development of weapon systems
- Experience in Systems Engineering, SSE and Anti‑Tamper related to weapon systems and platforms
- Experience in DoD Systems Acquisition Life Cycle
- Experience Program Information (CPI)
- AT plans and procedures
- AT Key Management Plans (KMPS's)
- AT & V&V Plans
- AT SOW's
- Tri‑Service Committee (TSC) briefs for submittal
- FMS and export planning
- Cryptographical methods
- Holistic SSE
