My client, is a specialist Irish tax advisory practice supporting owner‑managed businesses, high‑net‑worth individuals and corporate groups. It delivers practical, commercially focused tax solutions across all major Irish tax areas, combining strong technical expertise with an approachable, modern style. The organisation is committed to high professional standards, clear communication and long‑term client relationships.

This senior‑level position is ideal for a qualified or recently qualified tax professional with strong Irish tax experience. The role involves a balanced mix of advisory and compliance work, with responsibility for reviewing work prepared by others and progressing toward a future managerial position. Based in Dundalk, the role offers clear career progression within a modern and supportive practice.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Irish tax advice across Income Tax, Corporation Tax, CGT, VAT and CAT.
  • Advise a portfolio of owner‑managed businesses, high‑net‑worth individuals and corporate clients.
  • Research and interpret Irish tax legislation, with a strong emphasis on the Taxes Consolidation Act 1997.
  • Prepare technical tax memos, written opinions and client advisory notes.
  • Support Revenue audits, interventions and appeals.
  • Review tax computations and returns prepared by junior team members.
  • Manage your own client portfolio while maintaining high professional and technical standards.
Requirements
  • CTA qualification or nearing completion (ACA/ACCA background also considered).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ post‑qualification experience in Irish tax.
  • Strong technical understanding of Irish tax legislation, particularly TCA 1997.
  • Experience reviewing tax work prepared by others.
  • Interest in developing a career focused on advisory work.
