Job DescriptionWe are seeking a System Administrator to join a team supporting a mission‑critical network environment comprised of both physical and virtual infrastructure. In this role, you will handle all information technology (IT) tasks to include maintenance, updates, data security, patches, compliance, and backups. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience installing network equipment, maintaining network infrastructure, configuring devices, setting up firewalls, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
The selected candidate must also be able to obtain a DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification or higher within the first six (6) months of assignment to the position. Please consider applying if you meet the following qualifications.
- TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
- A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science or a related field and five (5) years of relevant experience is required. A Doctoral degree (PH.D.) and zero (0) years, a Master of Science (M.S.) degree and three (3) years, or an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree and seven (7) years of experience is also acceptable.
- Experience with data management and data transfer.
- Experience maintaining network infrastructure, conducting vulnerability scanning, and knowledge of Secure Terminal Equipment (STE) and Secure Telecommunications Networks (STN).
- Proficiency with Linux, Windows, and Red Hat.
- Knowledge of customer corporate tools.
- Experience with Ansible, Quay, Git Lab, and VMWare.
