Senior Dev Ops Engineer
About Your Role
As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and supporting secure, scalable, cloud-native solutions within Microsoft Azure. You will help shape infrastructure and automation capabilities from the ground up while driving operational excellence through Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, monitoring, and security best practices. In this role, you will contribute to innovative cloud initiatives, troubleshoot complex issues, and continuously expand your expertise as an Azure cloud professional.
What you’ll do:
- Design, implement, and support secure Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions across enterprise environments
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops and Git Lab to enable efficient, automated software delivery
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and Ansible for provisioning and configuration management
- Implement and maintain Zero Trust security architectures, including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and security controls
- Identify, assess, and remediate infrastructure and application security vulnerabilities
- Create and maintain monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
- Troubleshoot production issues, restore services, and maintain operational runbooks and knowledgebase documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud modernization initiatives and provide limited scheduled after-hours support when needed
Experience you’ll need to have:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Azure environments
- 5+ years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure Dev Ops and Git Lab
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation
- 3+ years of experience supporting Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including Application Gateway, API Management, App Service, Azure Monitor, Azure Storage, Azure Front Door, Microsoft Sentinel, and Azure Dev Ops
- Experience implementing Azure monitoring, observability, alerting, and operational dashboard solutions
- Prior Fiserv Application Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience
Experience that would be great to have:
- Experience supporting Web Logic and Apache environments
- Experience configuring and administering Microsoft Sentinel
- Knowledge of FISMA High, FedRAMP High, and Zero Trust Architecture frameworks
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-400, or similar cloud certifications

- This role requires being on-call during non-standard and/or overnight hours on a rotational basis
- This role requires flexibility to work overtime that includes weekends and holidays

- Approximately 5% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected
