This position directs the Prevention and Health Promotion division of the Queen Anne's County Department of Health, overseeing administrative, technical, legal, and educational responsibilities for assigned programs. The director designs, implements, and manages community behavioral health, wellness, and prevention programs while promoting partnerships between state and local governments, businesses, and service providers. The role may require 24-hour call-in and overtime availability.
Keyqualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and six years of health or human services administrative or professional experience
- Three years at a supervisory or managerial level
- Grant and budget management experience
- Experience with community behavioral health, wellness, and/or prevention programs
- Master's degree or Doctorate may substitute for general experience requirements
