Role Description

The Plant Manager – Kitchen Cabinets is a full-time, on-site role based in Middle River, MD. This role oversees day-to-day plant operations, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring manufacturing activities to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met. The Plant Manager leads and develops the production team, manages schedules, allocates resources, and drives continuous improvement in processes and workflow.

Responsibilities include managing inventory levels, coordinating with procurement and logistics, troubleshooting operational issues, and maintaining equipment in collaboration with maintenance staff. The Plant Manager also partners with leadership to implement operational strategies, optimize efficiency, and support on-time delivery for customer orders.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in Plant Management and Plant Operations within manufacturing or cabinetry production.
  • Strong Operations Management skills, including oversight of daily workflows, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
  • Proficiency in Production Planning to manage schedules, capacity, and material requirements.
  • Hands-on experience in Manufacturing Operations, with a focus on quality control, safety, and process optimization.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities, including coaching, conflict resolution, and performance development.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, or similar operational frameworks.
  • Ability to interpret production metrics, use data to drive decisions, and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams such as engineering, logistics, and sales.
  • Familiarity with production management software or ERP systems used in manufacturing environments.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
