PICU RN – Registered Nurse Pediatrics – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
Location:
Baltimore, MD – SINAI HOSPITAL, Pediatric ICU. Part‑time with weekend commitment (Day/Night rotations: 7 am–7:30 pm and 7 pm–7:30 am).
Salary: $37.15–$57.58 per hour, experience based. Sign‑on bonus potential: $6,000.
Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse – Pediatrics / PICU delivers evidence‑based, family‑centered care to pediatric and adolescent patients requiring both medical and intensive care. This role is ideal for nurses passionate about pediatric and critical care, thriving in fast‑paced settings, and wanting to make a meaningful difference in young patients’ lives.
- Provide high‑quality, compassionate nursing care to pediatric and critical‑care patients.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other care team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Educate and support patients’ families throughout hospitalization and discharge.
- Education:
Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred. - Experience:
Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience required. - Licensure:
Current Maryland Registered Nurse License. - Certifications:
BLS – American Heart Association required; PALS required within 6 months of hire;
Oncology certification required within 1 year of hire.
