Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living

Join our Riderwood team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)! As an LPN you provide clinical care to residents in accordance with the nursing standards of practice, the Board of Nursing, and Erickson Senior Living standards. We are currently seeking to fill day, evening, and night shift openings.

Compensation

$32.00 – $40.00 hourly, commensurate with experience, plus additional shift differential earnings.

Responsibilities
  • Develop relationships with residents and their families, using a consistent caregiver approach that places the resident first
  • Assess, observe, and evaluate residents’ clinical condition; document findings in the electronic medical record and notify the provider or RN when necessary
  • Update or modify care plans as needed to reflect changes in residents’ care and service needs
  • Supervise and lead care associates
  • Administer medications accurately and in a timely manner according to orders
  • Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care
  • Respond to residents, families, or responsible parties in a timely and professional manner
  • Participate in the review of clinical indicator reviews—falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use, etc.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the RN clinical leader
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long‑term care (preferred)
  • Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the State of Maryland
  • CPR certification required
  • A passion for caring for seniors and a strong resident advocacy mindset
  • Experience with electronic medical records (preferred)
  • Specific state regulations and requirements may apply; these take precedence over the requirements outlined in this job description
