Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Food:
  Skillfully prepare dishes in a timely manner as given on the production sheet.
• Ensure Safety:
  Follow all food safety and physical safety procedures in all operations; maintain food temperatures, cover sheets, production schedules, and any other reports or check-sheets.
• Evaluate Recipes/Maintain Reporting:
  Review recipes, provide feedback, suggest adjustments and record information to keep processes efficient and meet Executive Chef/Sous Chef standards.
• Food Safety and Quality:
  Apply industry best practices and local health department standards to ensure food is safe, delicious and appealingly presented.
• Train Cooks:
  Provide ongoing culinary training to student cooks to increase their skills in safety, production, presentation, documentation and recipe execution.

Physical

Requirements and Skills:

• Ability to lift 10+ pounds, bend body and knees as needed.
• Capability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Read and understand directions well.
