Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour
Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
What You ll Do- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries, and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site policies.
- Support shipping and receiving operations by observing vehicle movement, following post orders for gate and dock activity, and communicating clearly with site personnel regarding security-related issues and/or disruptions.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
