Pay Rate: $22.66 per hour

Schedule:

Wednesday 3:00 PM‑11:00 PM, Thursday 3:00 PM‑11:00 PM

As a Custom Protection Officer Access Patrol, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security incidents. This role offers the chance to deliver exceptional customer service and communication while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and caring.

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations calmly, solve problems, and document observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that require attention.
• Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for authorized individuals, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with location policies and posted instructions.
• Report hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations while maintaining professional communication with employees and visitors.

• Must possess one or more of the following:
  Military law-enforcement or security service; graduated from a certified public safety academy or have equivalent work experience; bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice; eight or more years of military service; associate’s degree or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with active military service.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Have loss-prevention experience (preferred).
• Have access control or badge experience (preferred).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• All applicants will be subject to a background investigation and, where permitted, a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
