Security Officer Part Time Roving Patrol

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 6:30 PM – 11:30 PM
• Tue 6:30 PM – 11:30 PM
• Sun 6:30 PM – 11:30 PM

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform to increase earnings.

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly, professionally, and with problem-solving, reporting details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the sales floor, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and unusual conditions; communicate observations to site contacts and local responders when appropriate.
• Support access control and loss prevention by observing high-traffic areas, checking designated entry points, and documenting security-related incidents and activities.

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by federal, state, and local laws;
  Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
