Roadway Electrical Helperwith Lighting Maintenance Inc. (LMI)
Looking to jumpstart your career in the electrical trade? Join our Roadway Lighting team! As a teaching electrical contractor, we offer 100% company-paid IEC apprenticeship training, plus opportunities for CDL, bucket truck, climbing, and other industry certifications. Start your career with paid training, hands-on experience, and a clear path for growth on our roadway lighting contract.
Key Duties- Assist electricians with roadway lighting repairs
- Install and remove light poles
- Install foundations, conduit, hand boxes, and wiring
- Repair lighting outages
- Follow Miss Utility regulations
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Maryland Class C driver's license with no points
- Truck-driving experience is a plus
- Some electrical experience preferred
- Must provide own hand tools
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Frequent lifting (51+ pounds)
- Climbing ladders
- Working outdoors and on your feet throughout the day
- Bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling, reaching overhead, and other physical tasks
