Job Overview

Glia Cell is seeking a Junior Software Engineer for a full‑time subcontract supporting a U.S. Government customer. The role focuses on sustaining critical mission‑related software and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test software to fulfill unique requirements across various OS platforms.
Work with small teams and focus on continuous integration and delivery.

Key Requirements

Active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
U.S. citizenship.
0+ years of software engineering experience with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (or related subject) OR 4 years of software engineering experience without a degree.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as on a team.

Key Skills

Java, Python, C, C++, JavaScript, Angular, React, or Node.js.
Experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.).
In‑depth understanding of OS internals and network protocols.
Familiarity with modern software engineering concepts.

Location

Annapolis Junction, Columbia, Hanover, or Laurel, MD area.

Salary Range

$50,000 to $120,000.
