Application Developer

Overview

As a full stack developer at Booz Allen, you will develop end-to-end solutions in a fast, agile environment, building systems from vision to production-ready and ensuring architectural integrity and future enhancements. You’ll help clients overcome challenges using the latest tools and techniques, shaping solutions that make a difference.

• Resolve technical problems with comprehensive end-to-end solutions.

• Learn new tools and identify needed system enhancements.

• Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment with current architecture, operating environment, and future functionality.

• Participate in coding, integration, testing, and delivery of software systems.

• 6+ years of experience developing in Java, including Spring Boot.
• 5+ years of experience in software system design, development, integration, and testing.
• 2+ years of experience developing in Python to support test drivers.
• 1+ year of experience with Ruby.
• Experience developing in a Linux environment.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree.

• Experience developing or integrating with JMS.
• Experience with Python scripting in development of utilities, prototypes, and automation tools.
• Experience with continuous integration solutions such as Jenkins and automating test/build procedures.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Bitbucket, Subversion, and Git.
• Experience with Maven.

The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package.

• Remote – you may still need to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility occasionally.
• Hybrid – you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, and may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility.
• Onsite – you will primarily work at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers as required.
