MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACTAs an Automated Test Engineer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our customer. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of a vital customer system.
- Support the development of robust automated test suites
- Collaborate with a cross-functional agile team of software developers, system engineers, and product owners to validate functional enhancements and support the ongoing modernization of authoring and dissemination tools
- Drive the design, development and maintenance of high quality, scalable automated UI and API test scripts
- Utilize Agile software development methodologies and collaboration tools
Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Test Engineer Senior must have:
- Education:
Bachelor of Science - Experience:
5+ years of related experience (all skill levels encouraged to apply) - Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Poly
- US citizenship required
- Proven experience designing, writing, and maintaining automated tests using Microsoft Playwright
- JavaScript or Type Script for test script development
- Testing modern web applications, RESTful microservices, and APIs
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Agile software development methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Version control systems (Git)
- Experience configuring and integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git Lab CI/CD)
- Familiarity with Cloud-based architecture and deployment (Amazon Web Services)
- Basic understanding of containerization (Docker) to test applications in consistent environments
- Familiarity with domain knowledge surrounding government agency reporting and dissemination policies

Likely salary range for this position is$127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
