Shaw Healthcare is looking for a Chef to join the team  will work with our Home Manager, Nutritional Therapist and the staff to provide high-quality fresh, home‑cooked food every day.

• Prepare, cook and serve meals for residents and others as required, in a timely manner.
• Provide a varied diet, catering for the cultural preferences of those who use our services.
• Celebrate and organise events in the home.
• Order supplies within the catering budget and company policy guidelines, using approved suppliers in the absence of the senior cook.
• Maintain accurate catering records in accordance with HACCP.
• Participate in inspections by Environmental Health, care regulators and local authorities.
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene in the kitchen by adhering to HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment by ensuring adherence to Health & Safety and Welfare.
• Manage the Catering Team.
