Salary: £39,000 Basic + Overtime + Company Van (Personal Use) + Fuel Card + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

We are recruiting an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join a well‑established and growing engineering team delivering planned and reactive maintenance across commercial properties throughout Cornwall. This role is based on a secure long‑term local council contract, meaning you will benefit from a consistent workload, excellent job security and no travel outside Cornwall.

• £39,000 basic salary
• Overtime opportunities available
• Company van with fuel card, available for personal use
• 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
• Company pension, sick pay and uniform provided
• Monday to Friday working (40 hours per week)
• 1 in 6 call‑out rota with £115 standby payment and minimum 4 hours paid if called out
• Secure long‑term local council contract
• Local Cornwall patch only – no staying away or travelling outside the county

As a Fire & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and fault‑finding on a variety of fire and security systems across approximately 400 commercial sites throughout Cornwall. Working alongside an experienced engineering team, you will deliver a high standard of service while building strong relationships with customers across your local patch.

• Experience servicing and maintaining fire and security systems
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
• FIA qualifications (Level 1, 2 & 3 preferred)
• Full UK driving licence
• A professional and customer‑focused approach
