Electrical Qualified Supervisor

EVi are an experienced NAPIT and NICEIC approved electrical contractor based in Dunfermline. We provide a full range of Renewable solutions for both domestic and commercial customers through the installation of Solar PV, Battery Storage, ASHP and EV Charge points as well as regular electrical installations. Operating across the Central Belt of Scotland, we are an Octopus approved partner and a Which Recommended installer.

The Role:

The Electrical Qualified Supervisor will conduct the renewable installations operations programme to the highest standard in line with codes of practice, Electricity at Work Regulations and Health and Safety requirements. The role will require installations to be carried out in domestic and commercial premises and provide assurance and mentoring and will be provided with training and professional development where required.

Ideal candidates will have experience with MCS, DNO and ENA methodology and be 18th Edition qualified, SJIB accredited or similar and be a craft trained electrician with supervisory experience. Self-motivated with good communication skills, the Electrical QS will ensure a high level of professionalism and attention to detail is a must where Health and Safety and documentation is required.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain work certification through online portals.
• Be responsible for team and personal safety.
• Health and Safety compliance.
• Primary lead with customers through DNO, installation and after care service.
• Surveys for new work.
• Provide progress reports to ensure each project is running to schedule.
• Carry out inspection and testing where required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Electrically trained and qualified.
• 18th Edition BS7671 IET Wiring Regulations qualified.
• C&G 2391 Inspecting and testing.
• SJIB or similar accreditation
• BPEC Solar PV, Energy Storage and EV Charge Point Installation certified.
• IT Literate
• Health and Safety (IOSH, SSSTS)
• Full Driving Licence

• electrical: 4 years (required)
