Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Labor and Delivery Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care in a Labor and Delivery unit, supporting maternal and neonatal health. Ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care during hospital shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of obstetric patients to determine care needs.
• Administer medications and monitor fetal and maternal vital signs.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and provide immediate intervention as required.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed records.
• Assist with patient education on labor, postpartum care, and neonatal care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid registered nurse license with current credentials.
• Possess ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Demonstrate experience in labor and delivery or maternal/newborn nursing.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to float and assist in ED or other units when needed.
• Available for part-time night shifts, including weekends, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
