Garber Heating & Air Conditioning has been proudly serving Central Illinois since 1972. We re hiring an Experienced Residential HVAC Installer who wants a long-term career with a company that still operates with the same integrity and care it was built on over 50 years ago.
What You ll Earn
- Competitive hourly pay based on your experience
- $22 - $30 per hour - depending on exp.

Schedule Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM start with a 1-hour lunch (Overtime as needed)
What You ll Do
- Install residential heating and air conditioning systems to the highest company standards
- Deliver a high-quality experience to every customer on every job
- Work with gas pipe, refrigeration pipe, ductwork systems, furnaces, heat pumps, and more
- Test and balance systems while meeting all codes and safety requirements
- Take pride in your work and be part of a team that truly supports one another
What You Need
- 3+ years of hands-on residential HVAC installation experience
- Valid driver s license with insurable driving record
- Proficient in installing gas pipe, refrigeration pipe, and ductwork systems
- Strong understanding of refrigerant, gas & electric furnaces, heat pumps, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and blueprints
- Advanced customer service skills
- Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices and air balancing principles
- Commitment to safety and quality
