  • Supervising board‑certified dermatologist available remotely via phone and Zoom
  • No onsite dermatology team for training or collaboration

Clinical Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive dermatologic evaluations and full‑body skin exams
  • Diagnose and manage:
    • Acne
    • Eczema
    • Psoriasis
    • Rosacea
    • Dermatitis
    • Fungal infections
    • Rashes
    • Skin cancers and precancerous lesions
  • Perform dermatologic procedures including:
    • Shave biopsies
    • Punch biopsies
    • Excisional biopsies
    • Cryotherapy
    • Lesion removal
    • Wound care management
  • Interpret dermatopathology and diagnostic testing
  • Develop treatment plans collaboratively with supervising physicians
  • Prescribe medications and therapies
  • Provide patient education on skin health and disease prevention
  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Requirements
  • Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program
  • Active North Carolina NP or PA license
  • National certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of dermatology experience under a board‑certified dermatologist
  • Strong procedural and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced clinical environment
  • Must be enrolled or have prior enrollment in Medicare/Medicaid
  • Current dermatology certification or eligibility to obtain certification within 12 months of employment (e.g., DCNP for NPs; equivalent for PAs)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with biopsies, cryotherapy, and lesion removal
  • Familiarity with dermatoscopy and EMR systems
  • Interest in rural healthcare and continuity of care
  • Prior independent dermatology practice experience strongly preferred
