Role: Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for delivering compassionate, state-of-the-art care and pain management to terminally ill patients and their families.
Key Duties- Apply nursing theories and concepts to patient care.
- Document care in compliance with reimbursement guidelines.
- Coordinate physical care with patients, families, physicians, and the hospice team.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and agency personnel.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings and quality reviews.
- Current RN licensure and completion of an accredited nursing program.
- At least two years of clinical nursing experience, with one year preferred in hospice care.
- Knowledge of home health and hospice care organization, nursing practice act, policies, procedures, and reimbursement guidelines.
- 12 hours of annual continuing education and CPR certification.
- Willingness to travel and accept weekend, evening, and holiday call assignments.
