** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining awareness of surroundings and following post orders.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.

+ Assist with access control duties by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials when required, and reporting suspicious persons, items, and/or activity according to site protocols.

+ Document incidents, observations, and/or security-related concerns in required reports and communicate with supervisors, local law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel when needed.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + An armed guard card and/or license is required.

+ Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
