Traffic Control Flagger

Traffic Plan is seeking Traffic Control Flaggers / Field Technicians to support safe, compliant work zones for utility, construction, and infrastructure projects across the Mid-Atlantic. In this field-based role, you will set up cones, signs, and lane closures, direct vehicles and pedestrians around active work sites, and communicate closely with crew leaders to adapt to changing roadway conditions. Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor, and remove traffic control devices at work zones
• Safely direct vehicles and pedestrians around construction and utility work areas
• Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company procedures
• Communicate clearly with crew leaders, drivers, and other field staff via hand signals and radios
• Inspect and maintain signs, cones, and flagging equipment
• Respond quickly to changing traffic and site conditions
• Complete basic field documentation and reports as required
• Participate in required safety meetings and ongoing training
• Support work zone layout based on traffic control plans
• Provide professional customer service to contractors and the traveling public
