The City of Dunn Public Works Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Street Maintenance Worker. This individual performs varied tasks vital to the overall upkeep of our City’s streets; will assist with storm water, paving, concrete work, right-of-way maintenance, and other related duties; must be able to drive trucks and operate light and medium equipment needed for the job.
Work also involves making repairs to the water and sewer system as needed. Responsibilities include ability to serve on-call and respond in a timely manner to emergency situations (including weekdays, nights, weekends and holidays). Work subject to extreme hot and cold weather.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid North Carolina Driver License.
- Class B CDL License is a plus.
