Master Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced Master Technician to join a reputable main dealer in Dunstable. This is an outstanding opportunity for a skilled automotive professional to enhance their career within a well-established dealership environment that values technical expertise and customer satisfaction. The successful individual will act as a technical leader, using advanced diagnostic skills to resolve complex faults and support the workshop team.

Duties of the Master Technician:

Carrying out advanced diagnostics using manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment
Diagnosing and repairing complex electrical and mechanical faults
Performing servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard
Conducting MOT tests in accordance with legal and manufacturer standards
Inspecting vehicles and components for faults, damage, and wear
Supporting and advising fellow technicians with technical issues
Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and dealership standards
Communicating technical findings clearly to the service team Requirements of the Master Technician:

Proven experience as a Master Technician or Diagnostic Technician within a main dealer environment
Relevant automotive qualifications
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems
MOT Tester qualification (desirable)
Full UK driving licence
