This position is located at GSU (Georgia State University) Perimeter College's Dunwoody campus and serves both the Dunwoody and Alpharetta campus communities. Regular work at both campuses is required. Perimeter College () became a part of Georgia State University in January 2016, a consolidation that formed the largest university in Georgia. The Dunwoody Campus sits on 100 acres in a residential area of north DeKalb County, where the college has developed a strong reputation as a community partner and institution for higher learning. About 10 miles north of Atlanta, the campus boasts a culturally diverse student body and vibrant student life activities, including the annual, well-attended international festival. Dunwoody is recognized for its highly regarded dental hygiene program.
In addition, the Dunwoody Campus Observatory is an attraction for astronomy students and the local residents who enjoy night sky viewing.
The Alpharetta Campus is popular for students interested in business and in Dual Enrollment, a program that allows high school students to attend college and high school simultaneously. Science-minded students also find a welcome home on Alpharetta Campus, where Perimeter College offers physics, astronomy, chemistry, biology, upper-level math and computer science classes and labs.
