Registered Nurse - Assisted Living

• Effectively communicate resident needs with physicians and the immediate supervisor.
• Complete resident assessments as required.
• Supervise LPN in data gathering of information.
• Maintain awareness of the condition of all residents under your care.
• Accurately administer all medications, treatments, and physician orders, taking ultimate responsibility for resident care.
• Confere with the Director of Nursing on an ongoing basis regarding special problems of care, resident transfers, and workload management.
• Coordinate preparation and planning of resident admission, acknowledging the contributions of family and others in nursing care planning.
• Provide emotional and physical comfort and safety to residents, and emotional support to families.
• Supervise, assist, consult with, and teach certified nursing assistants.

• Graduate of a state board‑approved school.
• Current licensed in Iowa.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to achieve it.
• Ability and willingness to work weekends and holidays as required or needed, as this is an hourly position.
• Exceptional attendance.
