Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Dunwoody, GA is seeking a dynamic and talented RN Referral Management – Full Time Weekday Evenings 10‑hour shift from Mon–Thurs. Under the direction of the Clinical Program Director, the Referral Management RN plays a vital role in managing electronic referrals, coordinating care with sending facilities, patients, and families, and conducting thorough clinical reviews of medical records.
This position involves collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure safe patient placements and compliance with HR policies and HIPAA standards. The RN will have basic knowledge of insurance benefits and coverage, will provide support to the crisis assessor team, and will conduct crisis assessments as needed.
- Review assessment referrals received from various sources in collaboration with the RN and other clinicians to assess patient needs.
- Assist in coordinating patient care.
- Maintain patient records, update databases, and ensure accurate documentation of patient information in approved EMR and other platforms.

Degree in nursing; preferred bachelor’s or master’s degree.
Licensure / CertificationRequired:
Licensed RN – current state nursing license.
Preferred:
Nursing Licensure Compact.
Current CPR; vaccines if required by a customer hospital.
Experience1–3 years work experience in behavioral health.
