AboutThe Role
We are seeking a hunter‑minded Account Executive to expand our presence within the layers or broiler markets. This is a high‑impact role focused on driving new business in an untapped and rapidly growing region
.
You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to close—while managing strong, face‑to‑face relationships with producers, integrators, and industry partners.
What You’ll Do- Drive new logo acquisition across the layers or broiler market segment
- Build strong customer relationships through on‑site visits and industry events
- Manage a 4–6 month sales cycle and an average $15–20K MMR deal size
- Deliver $1M+ AAR annually through disciplined pipeline management
- Represent MTech at major industry events, such as Midwest Poultry Show and IPPE
- Partner closely with internal teams to position our ERP and AI‑powered solutions
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in agriculture or poultry
- Strong hunter mentality — confident generating new business from scratch
- Industry knowledge in broilers (non‑negotiable)
- Ability to independently manage frequent travel and in‑person selling
- Strong communication and objection‑handling skills
- Ability to “read the room” and build trust quickly with producers
- Familiarity with ERP platforms
- Experience selling into major poultry organizations
- Prior success in long sales‑cycle environments
