Job Shift:
The Electrical Department is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Electrical Student Worker to support instructors and lab equipment. This role offers hands‑on experience with electrical systems and tools - ideal for students pursuing a career in the electrical field.
Primary Responsibilities- Assisting instructors with lab and classroom setup
- Maintaining and repairing meters and test equipment
- Repairing and maintaining job boards
- Setting up for performance exams
- Recycling and disposing of used wire
- Ordering and tracking repair parts and materials
- Performing basic carpentry tasks when needed
- Cleaning and organizing lab spaces
- Moving and setting up classroom/lab furniture and equipment
- Basic electrical knowledge and skills
- Proficient in the use of electrical test equipment - multi meters and related equipment
- Proficient use of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
