Overview
Heavy Truck Driver based in Lakewood, WA (JBLM).
Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt
Wage: $26.95/hr

Work Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift
Responsibilities- Drive a tanker truck to designated locations using grid coordinates on a map to set up, deliver, pick up, and pump portable latrines, sinks, and vault latrines.
- Clean and service portable latrines and replenish supplies (e.g., toilet paper, soap, paper towels, cleaners) as needed.
- Sanitize/clean portable sinks, latrines, and vault latrines inside and outside; pump effluent from portable latrines into the truck holding tank as required.
- Maintain vehicle maintenance logs and perform minor maintenance on the assigned truck.
- Maintain portable latrine and sink service logs and perform light maintenance on portable latrines as needed.
- Properly dispose of effluent from the truck holding tank at designated disposal locations.
- Inspect the vehicle before use and notify a Mechanic or Supervisor of any necessary repairs or service.
- Provide effective and efficient customer service while ensuring compliance with government standards and customer satisfaction.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous sanitation or heavy truck driving experience preferred.
- Ability to read military maps using military grid coordinates.
- Working knowledge of JBLM preferred.
- Must be able to follow directions and help organize routes.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances as background checks will be conducted.
- A valid CDL Class A with Tanker Endorsement is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain coverage by the company’s insurance.
